Scientists say that cultivating GRATITUDE has many rewards: it increases optimism and happiness, helps solve problems, improves self-esteem… But Mr. Dido didn't know this. That's why his mouth always formed an arc shaped like a roof tile. Until an unexpected character crossed his path one morning and turned everything upside down. This book tells the story of how GRATITUDE transforms our daily lives.

Carmen has published over a hundred books that travel the world speaking Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, Hebrew, Italian, German, English… and up to fifteen languages in total. What she really wanted was to be a fairy godmother, but her spells never quite worked: she'd try to turn a toad into a prince and end up with a fried egg. So she decided to dedicate herself to working magic with words. And that's how she's won several national and international awards, including four gold medals. In an attempt to enchant her readers, she holds meetings with them, teaches children's poetry courses, and gives talks on promoting reading.
Valentí discovered, after the age of nine, when he was told he could no longer draw in class, that there were adults who made a living as illustrators, just when all he knew was that he wanted to be happy. He likes to imagine worlds and tries to change them and paint them in new colors. He studied at the Massana School and trained with Carme Solé Vendrell. He published his first book in 1995 with Elena O’Callaghan and has been illustrating ever since. He paints for schools, libraries, building facades, and live performances.
