Ricardo was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, under the sign of Sagittarius. From a very young age, he understood that imagination could be a good travel companion, and since then, they have been inseparable. He has lived in Barcelona, near the sea, for many years. He studied psychology, but shortly before finishing his degree, almost by chance, he discovered his true calling: inventing stories and then putting them down on paper.
Marta was born in Badalona in 1967. She specializes in children's book illustration and naturalist drawing. She began her career in 1991, and to date, she has published textbooks and over 100 children's and young adult books, some of which she also wrote, with leading Catalan and Spanish publishers. In 2025, she was selected for the IBBY Selection of Outstanding Books for Young People with her book *Planeta Q, un lloc on viure* (Planet Q, a place to live), written by Susana Peix and published by Ediciones de Cumio (2024). For the past 12 years, she has combined her career with teaching illustration.
