تتنـاول هـذه القصـة العلاقـة بين الأصدقـاء، وأن الصديق يجب أن يكون عونًا لصديقه عند الضيق ، فالإنسان يجب ألا يكتم حزنه في نفسه حتى لا تتأثر حالته النفسية والصحية، بل يجب أن يبوح لأصدقائه بأحزانه وأفراحه؛ حتى يخففوا عنه الحزن ويضاعفوا أفراحه؛ فالحياة أخذ وعطاء.
