English

" What could have led this young woman to leave her home for a peninsula at the end of the world? And why so many mysteries around the forest that surrounds it?

The Utoh forest has been a home to mysterious crea- tures for millennia. Annabelle doesn’t know it when she decides to settle there. The young woman, discreet and a loner, leaves everything behind to start a new life, on this peninsula at the end of the world, which inex- plicably attracts her. It’s a way back to nature for her, a healthy retreat from a world in which she has never felt really at ease.
Lucas, a young man full of mysteries, has forged himself a shell of sarcasm and coldness. His cold and indifferent behavior is a reflection of his inner suffering. Something inside him is broken. This breach traps him in a lone- liness that only his best friend manages to overcome. The meeting between these two beings damaged by life will lead to an irremediable upheaval in them. For they will discover that they are not the only ones who are ‘different’.
Is it a coincidence that their eyes reflect with such intensity the characteristic golden glow of the inhabitants of the forest?

The Author
Alexandra A. Touzet was born in Paris in 1978. She grew up surrounded by books, which filled her childhood and pursued her throughout her studies and adult life. They were at first a discreet getaway, a window on the world. After studying French modern literature, she found her first job in educational publishing. Surrounded by books, as ever. Alexandra is at first a reader, a story enthusiast, passionate about literature and cinema, and music too. For her, fantasy is like a deforming mirror that reveals the poetry of the moment, the magic of the ordinary action.
