English

" When a company is considering setting up a colony on Mars, the question of who to send there arises. 100 years later on Mars, a young teenage girl sets on a quest for her origins

In a near future, the earth is dying, species are disappearing one after the other, and so is the vegetation. Unable to feed the earth’s population, which has invaded everything, society has chosen to favor the useful and richest workers, and to exclude the poor on the outskirts of cities, in unhealthy areas.
Marcus and Karel are recruited by RedSun, a company that handles human settlement on Mars. They succeeded in setting up an atmosphere and a magnetic field there, and began to establish plants and animals. But it is still to be decided who to send there and how. One day, Marcus’ dying wife, Anna, suggests a solution: to send hibernating children there, to be awakened in groups every year and conditioned not to develop civilization, in order to avoid a new disaster.
Marcus and Karel must take part in the expedition, as well as Pedro, the project director. To do so, they will be equipped with prostheses, which will turn them into cyborgs. 100 years later, on Mars, Jill is inexplicably attracted to the west. During her journey, she is saved from a cannibal attack by Timeo, a young boy who leads wolves. He takes her to his village led by Dana, a very old blind woman, so old that one wonders if she hasn’t known the world before. Dana tries to understand their world, and above all, where the children who are entrusted to her every year come from.
What is the purpose of these domes that are scattered all over the planet? Are they the ones that produce children? Jill, along with Timeo and Alias, a former slave who escaped from one of the domes, head west in search for answers.
