The archetype represented by Eshu contributes to the creation of an affective bond between man and spirit. Outcasts of every kind, marginal in the literal sense of the word - those who live on the margins - the gure of Eshu represents human nature itself with all itsvices and virtues. It’s from this affective relationship with the supernatural that Diego de Oxóssi seeks the mythological origin of Eshu and builds a time line from the emergence of African-Brazilian religions throughout the country history until the arising of a Brazilian Black Magic Tradition at present days.

El arquetipo representado por Exu contribuye
a la creación de un vínculo afectivo entre el
hombre y el espíritu. Parias de todo tipo,
marginales en el sentido literal de la palabra,
los que viven en los márgenes, la gura de
Eshu representa la naturaleza humana
misma con todos sus vicios y virtudes.
Es a partir de esta relación afectiva con lo
sobrenatural que Diego de Oxóssi busca el
origen mitológico de Exu y construye una
línea de tiempo desde el surgimiento de las
religiones afrobrasileñas a lo largo de la
historia del país hasta el surgimiento de una
Tradición de Magia Negra brasileña en la
actualidad.
