This work was written aiming to present some elements of advancement and enlargement of possibilities to welcome human suffering, in harmony with the suicide prevention purposes. Some difficult moments cause doubts and skepticism about the power of life and of being. The word "dysfunctional" mentioned in this book, refers to actions directed against us and which do harm, not because we wish, but perhaps because we did not have the chance to learn about welfare. Living well is an art to be found, to be learned when energy is directed to self-protection and to face hardships which discourage our faith and our hope in continuing to be alive.
