Networks are omnipresent in nature: The characteristic features of many natural systems such as biological, social and computer systems (the world wide web), and last but not least the molecular structure of materials can be described as complex networks. The book introduces a 'fractional' generalization of the classical lattice dynamics approach which allows to describe due to long range (heavy tail) jump distributions  'anomalous'  transport phenomena'. The book introduces the new mathematics of the fractional approach defined on lattices and networks and applies it to random motions on complex networks.
