He served on hospital ships, troop ships, and sea tugs on most of the seven seas during World War II and the Korean War. The book also tells of happenings in his family during twelve or more decades of his family’s settling in the West. After major injury in the Korean War, he had to give up his life at sea. He became a successful builder and a writer. He lives with his wife Muriel in Claremont California.
