Thenjiwe Meyiwa is a professor and research director in education and skills development at the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC). Muxe Nkondo is the vice chancellor at Venda University in South Africa. Margaret Chitiga-Mabugu is the executive director of the economic performance and development research program at the HSRC. Her work has appeared in numerous international journals. Moses Sithole is chief research specialist at HSRC. Francis B. Nyamnjoh is a professor of social anthropology at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. He has taught sociology, anthropology, and communication studies at universities in Cameroon, Botswana, and South Africa, and served as head of publications with the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Dakar.
