Colin O'Donnell graduated with a BA in Journalism from the University of Wolverhampton in 2007. He then went on to write for the Gazette Group Newspapers in Dublin, where he also began to freelance for the Evening Herald, writing on sporting and current affairs. He has also written for the Sunday Independent and Irish Independent. On the artistic front he wrote and produced "The Gathering" and "Coppers Uncovered" in the last year—both plays enjoyed sold-out runs.
