More About This Title Alice Through the Looking-Glass

English

"Oh, Kitty, if only we could get through into Looking-glass House!"

Once again we follow Alice's escapades with some of the most famous characters in literature, like Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, in a world where nothing is ever quite as it seems. Perfectly capturing the humor and nonsense of the original story, this edition is carefully abridged for younger readers and gloriously illustrated by world-famous author and illustrator Tony Ross.

Lewis Carroll (1832–1898) was the pen name for Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. A mathematics lecturer at Oxford, Dodgson enjoyed mathematical puzzles and jokes, several of which are included in his best-known works, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. Tony Ross has illustrated over 800 books, including Dr Xargle's Book of Earth Tiggers, which was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal, Is it Because?, and Super Dooper, Jezebel.
