The Hirsch Organization first published The Stock Trader's Almanac in 1967, and fulfilled Yale Hirsch's vision of providing historical information to investors. Published continuously for 38 years, the Almanac has become one of the most respected and widely referenced investment resources. Well in excess of 1 million copies have been sold to professional investors, money managers, individual investors, and to brokerages and investment houses such as Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. The Hirsch Organization has also published several newsletters over the years, and currently publishes The Stock Trader's Almanac Investor Newsletter. Yale Hirsch, the founder, and his son, Jeff Hirsch, are frequently quoted in the press from Barron's to the Wall Street Journal, and regularly appear on CNBC, Fox, CNN, and radio. Jeffrey A. Hirsch (Old Tappan, NJ) is the President of Hirsch Organization. He's worked with founder Yale Hirsch for 15 years, taking over as President and Editor in 2001. He appears frequently on CNBC and CNNfn to discuss market cycles and seasonal trends, and also edits the firm's monthly newsletter, Almanac Investor. J. Taylor Brown (Nyack, NY) is the Vice President of Hirsch Organization.
