JAMES G. JANOSSY is a faculty member of the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at DePaul University, Chicago. He teaches COBOL, MVS/ESA JCL, systems analysis and design, software testing, project management, relational database, CICS on IBM, and online programming on VAX and UNIX systems. Prior to joining DePaul, he worked in the industry for 17 years as programmer, project leader, and manager. Jim has written several books including Practical MVS JCL Examples, Advanced MVS JCL Examples, VS COBOL II: Highlights and Techniques, and VAX COBOL Online.

STEVE SAMUELS has been the director of the Computer Career Program of the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at DePaul University, Chicago, since its inception in 1982. He teaches COBOL, MVS/ESA JCL, C, systems analysis and design, CICS and DB2 on IBM, and online programming on VAX, and UNIX systems.
