JOHN S. REYNOLDS, AIA, is Professor Emeritus of Architecture at the University of Oregon and a registered architect in private practice. He was given the annual Passive Pioneer award by the American Solar Energy Society in 1996, and was named an ACSA Distinguished Professor by the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture in 1998.
