ROBERT P. CABAJ M.D., is associate clinical professor in psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco, and medical director of San Mateo Mental Health Services in San Mateo, California. He is past-president of the national Gay and Lesbian Medical Association and the Association of Gay and Lesbian Psychiatrists. DAVID W. PURCELL J.D., Ph.D., a psychologist and attorney, recently completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Emory University School of Medicine. He now works for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Behavioral Intervention Research Branch, Division of HIV and AIDS, in Atlanta.
