The Yellow Spotted Bell Frog, Litoria Castanea, is a unique Australian species. It is listed as critically endangered due to habitat changes, predators and diseases. The frogs are a mix of green and gold with black and yellow spots around its body. All yellow spotted tree frogs have a pale green stripe running down their backs. They like to live in large ponds, exploring the grassy banks or floating on water. They live in the Central West, NSW, Australia, where the author resides.
