Below Are Your Selected Attending Tradeshow

Elsie S. Wilmerding has been an educator of gifted and dyslexic children in and around theBoston area since 1985. A personal love of the American West and of nineteenth-century American painting inspired her to write about the lives of the two central characters whose lives intersected in historic battle. She be-lieves that the remarkable contrast of Custer and Crazy Horse and the cultures they re-present can be an effective tool for aug¬menting the teaching of diversity as wellas the westward expansion of the nineteenthcentury. Wilmerding?s treatment of these historical figures provides an appealing andinnovative way to interest children, ageseleven and above, in history and cultural dif¬ferences.
