More About This Title IN PRAISE OF STRONG WOMEN

English

In 1991, David Kirkpatrick’s beloved wife died of a swift-moving cancer, leaving him with two young children and a profound loss. A practicing psychotherapist and psychiatrist, David funneled his grief into his journal. Gradually, he realized that he had much to celebrate and share about living with strong women like Betsy. Unflinching and unforgettable, this loving memoir honors the girls and women who make our world a better place. Winner of a silver medal for non-fiction in Western Canada from the Independent Publishers Book Awards.
