More About This Title AFTER 25 YEARS

A unique debut novel about a love triangle, using the (almost) genuine texts of the married author and her lover, who re-met 25 years after breaking up. Happy, sad, sexy, funny and reflective. A new genre.

North Londoner Natasha Jordache lives in the south west of England with her husband and two children.

A Theology and Philosophy graduate, in her first career she was an actor; in her second, an advertising copywriter and feature-writer. Now, to her surprise, she finds herself the author of the controversial first book of a potential trilogy.

I think that what you have put together is extraordinary and, in my opinion, a great publishing project. I just read today that there is a new movie soon to be released in the Before Sunrise series with Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy and this made me think of those really great films. I really do think that you have something here.

I found it to be one of the most compelling and moving love stories I have read in a long time. We are looking for writers who dare to be different and are not afraid to push the boundaries of the genre – something I strongly believe that you and After 25 Years achieves. Quite simply, I love the book.

The way the story unfolds organically with its mix of joy and tragedy is something that a lot of people will really relate to, especially today when so much relationship development happens at this kind of technological remove.

This is a unique book, brilliantly styled to provide both narrative and true communications. The writing style of both protagonists is educated, witty, and full of undercurrents. Like an itch I had to scratch, I kept thinking about it and had to keep going back to read some more. After 25 Years is the true story of a mature love between two former lovers after years of separation. She is still mourning a love that had not died; Tom was still wondering what if. Both had not achieved closure all those years ago when they first walked away from each other's love. Through their communications we get a unique perspective from both points of view. This well-written, emotional and poignantly intimate story is a must read for those who have experienced the temptation to resurrect a former love, while wondering what could have been.

'After 25 Years' is a stunning absence connect story, told through the eyes of a couple once so in love that it seemed nothing would separate them. But life had other plans, and they parted. In this poignant story, the couple rediscover one another and we follow them on their new journey by way of their messages. In her foreword, the author shares that she has not edited grammar, spelling, syntax of the texts from `Tom'; she is a writer, he is not. How refreshing, she left his messages just as they were when sent, offering her reader unique insight into the relationship. Moving, funny, real, relevant. I loved it.

I had a lump in my throat at the bloody beginning! We get to read real messages and texts exchanged between old lovers who almost married, and after 25 years apart still have great love and affection for each other. It's sweet, humorous and seductive. At times hard to read especially knowing that Charlotte has a husband who she loves very much. Just shows that love and lust are two different things. Heartfelt drama, romantic. Those moments between Charlotte and Tom were sizzling hot!!

It is astounding the amount of emotion you can read between the lines. As readers we are voyeurs into the struggle between these two ex lovers re awaking desire and self doubt and guilt. The story left me haunted by their bitter sweet journey. I enjoyed this book immensely. Author states possible 3 part series. I await the next part with my tea and a hankie handy.

After 25 Years is a very well written book, full of raw emotion and like nothing I have read before. To have such an insight into an affair so private, so complicated, and ultimately so painful is entirely voyeuristic but utterly compelling. There is something satisfyingly naughty in reading private text messages - small nuggets of adultery, lust and betrayal that force you to keep turning the page. Relationships are not black and white and this book will challenge your views on monogamy. In a strange way, it almost could be you.

Very enjoyable. Completely different book, based on a true love story. After 25 years they had moved on with their lives but never stopped loving each other. The book is based on true messages between the characters, extremely different feel to this one.

A compelling narrative of two real people somewhat unexpectedly having an affair. This book is riveting and a good reminder that life is messy and sometimes good people can find themselves in situations where they should know better.
