English

The structural and mechanical properties of different tissues of the knee deteriorate progressively, causing pain and disability in people with knee osteoarthritis (OA). This in turn can be effective to reduce pain, improve function of the knee joint and hinder the disabling process in people with knee OA. This book has highlighted: - The structural and mechanical properties of the joint tissues as well as their remodelling properties. - The physiopathology that produces pain in OA is discussed. - Finally physical management strategy is discussed.
