Nancy Johnston Toll grew up in Iowa, completed her BA degree from Central College in Pella, Iowa and her Masters from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. She also has a specialist’s degree from University of Wisconsin – Madison in educational technology. She was a science teacher in Iowa and then Wisconsin for 20 years before helping staff as the technology coordinator for her school district the past 16 years. She enjoys playing golf, the piano, and swimming and her most cherished times are with her family. Nancy was diagnosed with breast cancer and feels it is important to share her journey with others so that they know they are not alone in this “bump” in the road. She also hopes you will consider offering care for a loved one, friend, or even a stranger as even the smallest gesture of saying hello or offering a car ride or meal can make a huge impact on someone’s life. You’ll understand when others are there to help you over your bumps in the road. Welcome the help with open arms.
