More About This Title Fool Moon

The four phases of the moon are the organizing theme of this poetry collection from a lively and irreverent New Zealand writer. Faraway places, conversations with friends, word games, theatrical elements, and encounters with other writers are among the subjects explored in this entertaining and surprisingly affirmative poetry. Found poems, elegies, and free verse reflections include sardonic and satirical glimpses of modern life.

Murray Edmond is the author of eight books of poetry, including From the Word Go, Laminations, and The Switch. He is a former writer-in-residence at the University of Canterbury. He is active in alternative theater groups, including Living Theatre, Beggars Bag Theatre, Theatre Action, and the Town and Country Players. He was a founding member of the magazine Freed.
