America 21 Books in Translation

Below Are Your Selected Attending Tradeshow

America 21 Books in Translation is a U.S. State Department program that acquires translation rights from U.S. publishers to support book translation projects managed through U.S. embassies and missions abroad. I'm the "creative" director, leading a staff of copyright specialists and researcher librarians.
We hope to expand our relationships with U.S. and foreign literary agencies, and with the "go-to" people who work on foreign rights within each U.S. publisher's licensing or rights office. We'd really like to be able to acquire single or multiple language rights for American books and multimedia content, as well as make literary contacts for programming in our American Spaces worldwide.
