"Mrs. Gale Atkins Barrow says, ?it is an honor to teach Sunday school classes on Sunday morning, and it is a privilege to work with the students during the week.? She is employed as a para educator (teacher?s aide) at the local middle school. Over the years Mrs. Gale has had the opportunity to listen to various voices, hundreds of hearts, and manifold minds of children. Their prolific personalities just amaze her. The ideal of this book came to her when she listened to her grandchildren?s pre-K graduating class. The children were saying individually what they wanted to be. ?I want to be a teacher.? ?I want to be a captain on a ship.? ?I want to be a writer.? ?I want to be a Meteorologist.? Mrs. Gale thought, you can be anything you want through prayer, perseverance, and persistence. It is very fulfilling, for her, to see and hear the excitement of children when they have completed reading a book all by themself. She wants her books to be simple, knowledgeable, and fun. As her books are read, she wants the enthusiasm to continue in the voices, in the hearts, and in the minds of all children. Gale Atkins Barrow is the wife of Alexander Barrow, Sr. Her four children are: Chase, Chasidy, A.J., and Kaleb. Mrs. Gale?s children?s children are: Tyren, Tyrion, Cameron and Kya. She resides in the city of Raceland, the parish of Lafourche, and the community of Alidore. Mrs. Gale is a Sunday School teacher at Mechanicville Emmanuel Baptist Church and Mount Zion Baptist Church."
