More About This Title BLIND BARRIERS

Raven Ferragamo is starting a new life. Taking a year off after high school, she moves to Washington, D.C., leaving her childhood friends, her family, and her problems behind. The clean break with her past starts off better than she dreamed when a hunky neighbor offers to be her D.C. tour guide. For the first time in her short life, Raven really feels as though anything is possible.
Lark Kingsley had the perfect family, the perfect future, the perfect life. Born and raised in affluent New York society, she was bred for success. Until one day things go terribly wrong, and Lark vanishes in to thin air.
Seemingly coming from different worlds, the two have more in common than either could ever dream. When Raven finds Lark’s diary, it becomes clear that the girl knew that something horrible was going to happen to her. And that she wants someone to follow the clues to her disappearance.
What happened to Lark, and why is she desperately pleading with Raven to find out?

“Sophie Davis” is a pseudonym for two best friends, roommates, and now writing/business partners. The pair met at Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law in 2005, and have been making mischief, mayhem, and stories together ever since. After they graduated, when one longed for the ability to read minds so she wouldn’t have to study for the bar exam, a Saga was born.
Two years ago they released Talented, Sophie Davis’ debut novel and the first in the five-book Talented Saga. Three of the follow-ups, Caged, Hunted, and Created have since been released, as well as a novella, Captivated. All of these have been on multiple Bestseller Lists in five countries.
Both halves of Sophie Davis currently live in Washington, D.C. They practice law by day, and stay up into the wee hours of the night crafting new story ideas and perfecting existing ones. Both are compulsive list-makers, self-proclaimed horror movie aficionados, and birthday cake lovers. One is a coffee addict, while the other should own stock in Five Hour Energy. The only time they disagree is when it comes to mindless television: one Sophie would be happy loves Shark Tank and anything on the Esquire Network, while the other Sophie can’t seem to get enough of Bones and Psych. Together they own three adorable dogs, who are the girls’ faithful companions as they navigate the world of Indie Publishing.
The duo is presently hard at work on the Blind Barriers Serials, as well as the final book in the Talented Saga, Inescapable (exp. Summer/Fall 2014), and the second book in the Nightmares Trilogy, Sacrifice, (exp. Fall/Winter 2014). In 2015 they will be releasing a new series they’re both very excited about, and anxious to begin writing. It is doubtful the pair will ever run out of ideas.
When the two aren’t discussing new marketing strategies or typing furiously, they can be found shopping in Georgetown, running in Rock Creek Park, or at the local dive bars in their Columbia Heights Neighborhood.
