Watch as a loving God settled Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden where they had intimate relationship with God. However, they disobeyed God and obeyed Satan who deceived them. Therefore they lost eternal life and had to get out of the garden.
But because God is love, He sought after them. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
The begotten Son is Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. His death on the cross is the mission accomplished. When He said, “It is finished,” the debt of sin was fully paid and captives were set free. The year of jubilee was fulfilled. Our part in this grand love story is to believe and receive Jesus in our hearts, with gratitude.
And when He ascended, He left us the Holy to guide, teach and counsel us towards repentance and maturity in Christ. Therefore, we worship God and rejoice in the Lord always. Enjoying the love of God in Christ Jesus; His amazing love that is so fulfilling and liberating.
