This book tells of the life and trying times he suffered during his life starting with his birth bringing the reader up through the formative years into young adulthood and on into the horror of the Vietnam War explaining hopefully to the audience what war combat is up close and personal further explaining how the war caused the trauma of PTSD and resulted in survivors syndrome then post Vietnam experiences on into civilian life and how the federal civil service system discriminates against veterans and white males in hiring and promotion justified by the 1964 federal civil service decision creating quotas in hiring and promotion within the civil service workforce and finally explaining how fighting this federal bureaucracy is a waste of time and effort.

The author was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky considered the old south, went to school and played football and wrestling working his way into semi-pro boxing fighting regular until a fight injury causing a broken hand stopped fighting career then learning to weld and working in a shipyard in southern Indiana on the Ohio River, the getting a divorce after 3 years of marriage and enlisting in the military.
