A Southerner born and bred, author Mia Capley pulls from her roots to create her stories. An avid writer, Mia enjoys putting her imagination into the words of her novels and children’s books, building worlds for others entertainment. She penned her first short story as an elementary student and has clung to the thrill ever since. She is formerly her hometown newspaper's editor and has written history books capturing the events and personalities that earned the county’s fame.
She and her husband currently live on the sunny shores of the Gulf Coast having moved from the family farm in Tennessee where she and generations of her family were reared. She enjoys reading extensively, dogs and horses and spoiling her grandsons, Andrew, Grayson and Ethan.
