Ashley likes to think of herself as an average teen but there is nothing average about her. Being born with the ability to control fire is not easy to live with. Some days she just wants to scream it from the roof top for all to hear, but instead hides it from the world. One day she hopes to be a fire fighter like her adopted father John Smothers. When Ashley was a tiny baby John saved her from a burning building; and when no one came to claim her, he raised her as his own.
