***** 5 star review by Bil Howard for Readers' Favorite

"The Mummy Nature Series of children's books has been kicked off with a bang. Rebecca Bielawski begins the new and vibrant series with Meet Bacteria. Using rhyme and colorful illustrations, Rebecca introduces young children to bacteria, where they like to live, what they like to eat and how you can't see them with the naked eye. As she reveals some of the special things about bacteria, both good and bad, she is also sending a very simple and subtle message to children; just because the germs can't be seen doesn't mean your hands are clean. Through a very simple and fun lesson,Rebecca begins to instill the benefits and necessities of good hygiene, but also avoids making bacteria into a scary monster.

Rebecca has done a bang up job, not only in the simple verses used to communicate with eager young minds, but she has made use of all of her talents in Meet Bacteria by adding vibrant illustrations that are very appealing. The subtle sense of humor that she used in some of her drawings is also enough to cause a giggle to erupt from a young reader.Full of fun as well as an essential message, Rebecca's Mummy Nature Series is certainly off to a good start. Toddlers and older children are exposed to new vocabulary and something that they would very likely never have seen before; a microscope. Playful, educational and vibrant,Meet Bacteria is a great way to start your child on the road to learning about nature and the numerous fascinating aspects of the world around us."
