Carla is a captivating tale of a young woman running from her New York past. When she reaches the small town of Otra Vez on the Pacific coast, she realizes she has driven as far as she can. As the rays of the evening sunset shine on the quaint little town, her eyes are drawn to the beautiful adobe colored house on the cliff. At once she knows, this is the place. She wants that house. Her dream, and journey of self-discovery begins. With a lot of hard work while earning the acceptance of the people of Otra Vez, her dream grows until history repeats itself. But this time is different, Carla is different. Finding herself, despite her initial goal of "losing herself" – makes for an engrossing and entertaining read.

Patricia Frame is an award-winning short story writer and author of numerous plays. She's lived and worked in five different states, worked in fourteen more, and visited many more. She has met wonderful people just like those who populate her stories.Her imaginative work "Cindy" was published in the anthology "Creatures We Love", and in 2016, the 85th Annual Writers' Digest Writing Competition awarded Honorable Mention to Pat's short children's story The Tree. Carla is her first full-length novel.
