"Galley's written a worthy successor to The Written and Pale Kings. His story telling has evolved and he's created yet another thrilling and imaginative fable of magic, death, love and heroism. Galley's characters have grown with him and fans of the previous books will find themselves falling in love with them all over again. This is a great fantasy book, worthy of Galley's skill. If nothing else, it'll make you want to read Part 2!"
"I thoroughly enjoyed 'The Written' and 'Pale Kings' books, so had high hopes for 'Dead Stars Pt. I'. Ben Galley delivered. A truly original story with interesting and well developed characters interwoven into the intricately crafted world of 'Emaneska'. I would highly recommend reading this great series by a talented young author who brings diverse, humorous and intriguing characters and plot to a novel."
