When Clyde Manson, Hoss Kemp, and Guerrero ride from the Mexican border to Sasabe, Arizona, there is much more on Manson's mind than a straightforward bank robbery. Manson is a high-flyer from New York, so why is he involved with outlaws and in such desperate need of money? Why is he determined to reach Yuma? The bank robbery is successful, but Deputy Marshal Will Hawker is shot dead.
