They look as two ordinary stories of two kids who win prizes for drawing and playing music. But only in the end we discover that they are handicapped and had to overcome their hardships to win these prizes. This is done on purpose to allow the reader to deal with them as ordinary people who are greatly motivated. Then when we discover their state, we admire them all the more. The style is very comprehensive and the drawings are very expressing.
