The author is a seventy eight year old retired police officer, married to his wife Mary for forty seven years,with two daughters and six Grandchildren.
Born in the North East of England he has spent most of his working life in the Midlands in Birmingham.
This book which is dedicated to his two daughters Jane Louise and Sally Ann, is probably the result of reading stories to them and the three children each
