Aboriginal Studies Press
Aboriginal Studies Press (ASP) is Australia's leading publisher of Australian Indigenous studies publications: print, ebooks, apps.
We readily identify compelling and award-winning narratives that capture the unique heritage and diverse lives of Australia's first peoples. Our ethical publishing that provides readers with a rich understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' histories and cultures.
Our authors are Indigenous and non-Indigenous academics and writers who work independently, and,at times collaboratively, to ensure that the best of Australia's stories are shared with current and future generations.
Our small publishing team publishes about six titles each year with about 120 titles available. We are the publishing arm of AIATSIS, the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies.
We're seeking to make rights sales.
But we're also interested in possible collaborative deals with publishers who are publishing work on Australia's Indigenous peoples, or comparative studies that include Australia's Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.
