Sara Lunardi was born and raised in the beautiful seaside town of Genoa, Italy, where she studied for a degree in Modern Language and Journalism, specializing in psychology and sociology. After spending a few years in Switzerland, she moved to London, a city that she has made her home and which provides the setting for much of her writing. Sara works as manager of wellness and beauty centers, and as beauty consultant for prestigious brands of cosmetics. She also loves fashion and art, areas closely connected with the world of aesthetics. She has always been a hungry reader and consumer of books of all kinds, and she fell in love with the fantasy genre after a chance reading of the timeless classic 'The Lord of the Rings'. Her true passion, however, is still writing: "I think I held a pen before walking. Despite new technology, I've always been fond of the good old pen, scribbling notes on used travel tickets, handkerchiefs and even worn pages of old diaries. It's the only way I'm able to capture and bring to life the ideas that are constantly running through my head." Sara began writing at school, producing essays, articles, term papers on the humanities, and also collections of poetry. She then continued with more technical writings in the fields of aesthetics and cosmetology, also taking care of the school programme for beautician internships. However, the idea of writing 'a real novel' has always been on her mind. 'Ecliptic' is her true debut. It’s the first book of 'Ecliptic Saga', a urban fantasy-meets-science fiction series for young and adult readers. She's currently writing the second book, 'The Seal of Constellation'.
I'd like to find fellow writers to share advice, but also doubts and difficulties. I'd like to make my book more visible and to contact literary agents too.
