My name is Bill and I have a manuscript that I wrote up about my Adventure while in Rota Spain as a U.S. Marine trying to pass through the country to my final destanation.
This is a true story that took place in Spain between 1979 - 1982 while I was in the Unites States Marine Corps.
The story covers why, and how I had arrived in Spain, the two sailors I met that lead to my arrest. What happened through the arrest and trial then appeal of the courts decisions.
A story of the hardships and heartaches along the way that I had to endure while I went through the Spanish court system, time in Rota jail , The two separate times I was in the Navel Brig on base ,and Cadiz prison, To be sentenced five years for a Crime I was innocent of. This is a story that I feel needs to be told.
It’s a story of both courage and fear as I faught my way through their Courts and prison.
I have written over a 60,000 word memoir about what happened, But I'm not a writer just a person with a story to tell so the book needs editing and polishing
