The sunlight in the morning and evening is best for any picture, but sunlight during day time is intense and it can be used for infrared photography, care should be taken while photographing pictures at day time as sun can bleach normal colors. Remember when sun is low-down, the light coming from it has less intensity giving a sensation of warmth, helping colors to shine bright in your pictures. Keep in mind, that effects of shadow can ruin your best picture.
