He has lived for a year in Copenhagen (as a child) and for a year in Paris; plied the canals of France as a teen; traveled solo by train throughout Europe for 6 weeks at age 18; trekked the foothills of the Himalayas with an Australian penpal he had never met before face to face; and sat down with Arthur C. Clarke in his home in Sri Lanka and shocked him by asking a question about 2001: A Space Odyssey that he had never been asked.
He currently lives in the suburbs of Chicago with his girlfriend and his Shih-Tzu/Bichon mix, Iggy Pup (formal name, Ignatius J. Puppy, with a hat tipped to John Kennedy Toole). «View Less
