The National Copyright Administration of China (NCAC)
The National Copyright Administration of China is the highest administrative and legal agency responsible for interpreting and enforcing China’s copyright laws. It was established in 1985 as a department directly under the State Council, the chief administrative authority in China. The primary duties of the NCAC include: implementation of Copyright Law, investigation of significant national copyright infringement cases, direct administration of local and regional copyright offices and industrial copyright institutions across China and the management of both domestic and foreign copyright owners’ products and use.
The Copyright Protection Centre of China (CPCC)
The Copyright Protection Centre of China is a government institution directly answerable to the National Copyright Administration of China, established in 1998 with the approval of the State Commission Office for Public Sector Reform. As a national institution providing copyright-related services, CPCC plays a vital role in enforcing China’s copyright laws, implementing the copyright administrative system, and protecting the legitimate rights of copyright holders.
The CPCC is the only certified body that can properly register your copyright in China and issue the appropriate certification. As well as copyright registration the CPCC provides a range of complimentary services including, Chinese copyright law consulting, copyright authentication, third-party investigation and evidence collection of copyright abuse, copyright dispute mediation and prosecution and other copyright services designated by the NCAC. «View Less
