Nineteen- ninety-seven was the year Antonne came up with the idea to write and publish his own books as a means of following his dreams and becoming an entrepreneur. He resigned from his day job and turned his tiny one bedroom apartment to his business office and warehouse. The company, Eldon Publishing, immediately utilized the services of Ronald Welton. Ronald, was a marketing genius as well as Antonne's best friend since grade school. While Antonne handled the day-to-day needs of the company Ronald exclusively handled the marketing and promotions for the brand.
The company big break came with the success of their first release, The Family A Philadelphia Mob Story. The novel became an instant hit in the book and music industries. While earning spots on several bestseller lists, well-known hip-hop musicians heavily quoted the book. Such artists as Jay Z, Nas, and The Lox would often quote catchy phrases on their albums. Following the same course the company published three other books that would become best sellers, The Family II Life After Death, The Lex Street Massacre, and La Familia.
Since it's inception the company earned the distinct honors of being the first independent company to publish urban-based novels setting the stage for other writers and publishers such as Terri Woods (True to The Game), Vicki Stringer (Triple Crown Publishing) and Shannon Holmes (B More Careful). The translating and publishing of La Familia in Spanish made it the first and only urban novel that catered to the Latino community. In 2005, Eldon Publishing, strengthened their business relationship with Ingram Book Company, a billion dollar a year distributor, and expanded their international presence. Also during that same year Eldon was changed to Clear Vision Entertainment Company and expanded into movies, music and fashion. The once two-man operation became a multi million-dollar corporation with offices in Manhattan, Philadelphia, and New Jersey.
Antonne, who still remains the company CEO, still believes there is yet much more to accomplish and is a firm believer in forming global relationships and creating projects of quality. " I believe the sky is the limit with Clear Vision. However, I fully understand we are only as good as the projects we produce, the employees we hire, and the business relationships we acquire. Unification is the e common thread that binds us together as one family in one world". «View Less
