In short, I am 63 years old, Aries, adopted under unusual circumstances, had a verbally and at times violently abusive father, I was sexually assaulted and also involved with a paedophile for some years, so lucky to be here at all really. I am retired, have been for 16 years now, and I have been happily living with my partner for 25 years. I am often asked ‘why did you write your book’? My reply is always? “Time and Timing”. I had the time to write and the timing for me was right because the people my story who could be affected were no longer alive, including the principle offender hence the books title They Can't Touch Him Now.
I consider myself a lucky man, although it wasn’t such good luck when my publisher went into voluntary liquidation and at the same time my agent retired. Still I always believe that out of bad comes good. I love that line from The Sound of Music, ‘When God closes a door somewhere he opens a window.’ I know there is a publisher out there who will love this book. It’s just we haven’t met yet! Untill then, there are two sequels waiting in the wings plus I have got two fiction books on the go. «View Less
