This teen fantasy tells the story of trees that travel through different dimensions kidnapping children under the age of sixteen and assimilating them inside their trunks. This enables them to move about.
Two brothers are chased into a past dimension by a Kapu tree, where they are befriended by an aboriginal tribe that sends their bravest warriors, a girl shaman, and a strange dingo dog called yellow, to help the boys find their way home. This journey will take them through a harsh surreal world full of strange people and even stranger creatures. This brave band of warriors and children are witness to sights of unbelievable beauty, and scenes of extreme cruelty.
Alan has just started his second book: Tussock Camp.
