After a full career in science I would like to write feasible science fiction. I have written a self-published book WAR OF THE CYBERWIZARDS.
I would like to find a publisher interested in my self-published book (synopsis below) that I think would make a timely and exciting movie.

WAR OF THE CYBERWIZARDS

Two computer wizards who have been lifelong friends find themselves entering forced retirement together. They compete for the amorous attention of the same lady fair using their considerable hacking skills. What follows is a hilarious chain of events.
In the mist of their amorous pursuits, the “Happy Hackers”, as they were called, are pressed into service by U.S. Homeland Security as ‘generals’ to defend against a pending cyberattack by cyberterrorists. Their army consists of a group of old computer hacking friends from the 70s. The adversary in this pending cyberwar is a distinguished and idealistic retired U. S. history professor who has organized a group of “cyberterrorists.” Their motivation is to restore the rights of indigenous and marginalized peoples. They are headquartered high on a mountain top in Southern Mexico.
The cyberterrorists in Mexico are assisted by an American disillusioned by U.S. foreign policy who headed the U.S. Department of Defense’s advanced cyberwarfare program. He was able to plant an undetectable “stealth” logic bomb on most of the U.S. government and industry computers that can be set off to destroy whole computer systems. Another member of the cyberterrorists is an Arab from Morocco who was a close friend and college classmate of the Happy Hackers at the University of Virginia.
The cyberterrorists launch a cyberattack against the United States by exploding their logic bomb on the computer system of FEDWIRE which handles over $800 billion dollars in transactions daily. The result was closure of the U.S. stock markets for a week and a steep decline in the American economy. The unusual demand of the cyberterrorists that the United States establish a Department of Peace was met by the President of the U.S. after considerable public pressure and a second attack on FEDWIRE. The U.S. also discovered and destroyed the headquarters of the cyberterrorists in Mexico. The leader of the cyberterrorists was able to escape.
Following the attack on the cyberterrorists in Mexico, they transferred the triggers to set off the “stealth” bombs in U.S. computers to a new headquarter in the mountains of Morocco. Heading this operation was the Moroccan classmate of the “Happy Hackers.”
The stage is then set for a cyberwar between old classmates, the “Happy Hackers” in their underground war room in the U.S. and their Arab classmate on a mountain top in Morocco. The cyberterrorists in Morocco combine with Al Qaeda and Insurgency Forces in Iraq to mount a combined cyber and physical attack against Iraqi governmental and Coalition Forces in Iraq. They plan to take over government headquarters and the airport in Baghdad. The attack fails for unexpected reasons.
The President of the United States flies on Air Force One to a secret Homeland Security facility in West Virginia to personally congratulate the U.S. cyberwarriers for their victory in Iraq. He brings his two daughters and their boyfriends along. During this visit Air Force One is hijacked by al Qaeda which electronically captures the “Home Run” system on Air Force One designed to arrest control away from hijackers. The President’s two daughters are trapped on Air Force One which can be flown from the ground by al Qaeda like a model airplane. They threaten to crash the airplane and the President’s daughters into The White House if their demands are not met. A series of dramatic events follow as the U.S. cyberwarriors attempt to arrest control of Air Force One away from the cyberterrorists.
At the conclusion of this saga, the four main characters, “The Happy Hackers”, their Arab classmate, and the U.S. history professor find themselves together at the University of Virginia. The Arab and history professor have been invited to give lectures at the newly formed Department for Terrorism Studies funded by the U.S. Department of Peace. “The Happy Hackers” have been appointed to the UVA faculty. The four cyberwarriors enter into a discussion of the causes of terrorism around the world.
Through intense drama, the book explores the root causes of terrorism and approaches to rid the world of terrorists. «View Less
