Fiction writer - prose and graphic novels (a.k.a. high-art/lit comic books) - not genre fantasy/sci-fi, but with fantastical elements.
I illustrate some of my own graphic novels.
I'm a published writer of technical/programming books, including Amazon #1 bestseller in Computing category, I have experience of getting material out to a deadline, working with editors, proofreaders, etc.
Two things I'm looking for here:
- publishers for my work, and/or agents who will help me find publishers. I'm particularly keen to connect with mainstream publishers regarding my graphic novels.
- illustrators who would be interested in collaborating with me on projects - either straightforward comics or other kinds of picture book. By collaboration, I mean putting a pitch together to put before publishers - I can't afford to pay anyone outright, and would rather work with someone who's interested in sharing the creative input. I have scripts and ideas that I can put in front of artists, but also willing to work with you on your ideas and visual style.
