After some time, exploring our similarities and differences, we decided to add clarity to my new awareness and travel to Japan where I fell in love with her culture too.
I am a retired entrepreneur and founder of a prestige cultural award winning restaurant & wine cellar documented to be from the 14th Century. The joint ventured achievements filled many hearts with joy. As fate would have it I met and fell in love with Yumiko originally from Japan but lived in Norway. My inquisitiveness to her culture left no bounds, embedded in books that were about to change my whole way of thinking. Yumiko soon discovered my quest to unfold my corrected comprehension of enigmatic Japan, in more depth. I pursued to explore awareness’s believed to be so widely divergent from my own. To find harmony and balance between Man and Mother Nature expressed tenaciously in the aesthetic. Thus my intrigue in cultural diversities ethnic diversities as well as lifestyle diversities have inspired me to add pen to paper and write Jewels of Japan in acknowledgment of found awareness believed to be worth sharing.
I am not an academic, nor do I have a journalistic background, I am a man who thrives on creativeness, exploring opulence in our quality of being rather than the doing. Thus telling my adventure, my travels, my life and my awareness about culture has become one word, passion. «View Less
