My first book, 'Colourless Rainbow: Poetry of My Childhood' is a volume of poems forthcoming from the award-winning Lagos-based Coast2Coast Publishing in the first quarter of 2010. Currently, I'm working on the last chapter of a non-fiction manuscript, 'Complete Poetry: for Students and Writers'. It is an academic text on the genre of poetry written with a literary approach. Also, on World AIDS Day this year, 2009, I launched 'Ripples Across Lives: Poetry Against HIV/AIDS', an awareness and sensitisation project which will culminate in the writing of RIPPLES ACROSS LIVES, a volume of poems targeted at youths and People living with HIV/AIDS. I strongly hope to find a literary agent to help me get a good publisher with global reach for my academic text on poetry, COMPLETE POETRY: for Students and Writers, written for English students and writers across the world. A detailed outline of the book can be accessed here: http://www.senatorihenyen.wordpress.com/literary-projects/research-work-2/outline-of-the-proposed-book-complete-poetry-for-students-and-writers-by-senator-ihenyen/ Moreover, for my volume of poems centred on HIV/AIDS and targeted at youths and PLWHA, RIPPLES ACROSS LIVES, I need a publishing deal. Interested publishers or willing agents can visit my blog for more details on this book. Pls visit http://www.senatorihenyen.wordpress.com/ripples-across-lives-poetry-against-hivaids/
