* Video clips for Deborah Henson-Conant, George Jinda and the World News, Scorpio and Bang-Bang.
I wrote the original script for Instant Karma, a poetic love story in 1993. I moved to England for this work early 1996. The script received a development loan from the MEDIA II Programme of the European Union. This script was selected for the Hartley – Merill Prize in Hungary in 2003 and was awarded the Special Prize of the Motion Pictures Association.
In 1997 I finished another film script with the title ”Finding Freedom" with development support from British Screen. The script was further developed with the Second Central European Sundance Workshop in 1998. The synopsis of Finding Freedom was the winner of the Katapult Prize in 2005.
At the end of September 1998 I moved to Northern Ireland and now live in Rostrevor, at the border between South and North. After having researched for a year I wrote a new film script with the support of the Northern Ireland Film Commission. "Blessed Mary. “Blessed Mary” was further developed at an ARISTA story editor workshop in 2001, supported by the Northern Ireland Film Commission and Screen Ireland.
I was granted UK citizenship in 2004. I have been a resident of Northern Ireland since 1998.
Since 1997 I have been working with a peace initiative Light 2000. In 1999 I set up a community group in Warrenpoint with the same name. The group organised a community art project in Warrenpoint and I produced a 14 minutes community documentary with the title "Light 2000" on the work of this group in 2001, supported by the CRC, NIVT, directed by Alistair Livingstone. In the following year we staged an exhibition about the work of Light 2000 in 3 public libraries in County Down and also at a peace festival in Bristol, England.
In recent years I have been concentrating on my fiction. I have been supported by the Art’s Council of Northern Ireland to finish my novel Desert Skies, which was subsequently published in America in 2007. My short stories, poetry, and articles were published in “Breaking the Skin” An Anthology of 21th Century Irish Writing, The Black Mountain Review, Southword,, Fortnight and Poetry Monthly. Short Story “Blue Shoes” short listed for the Capricorn Short Story Prize. My non-fiction book Yoga for Pregnancy was published by LPI in Budapest in 2005, and Sex and Yoga in 2007, the latest, Meditations in 2009.
I teach yoga for pregnancy, baby yoga and general yoga specializing in women's issues and I train teachers in this area.
I wrote and directed “Point” experimental short, supported by Northern Ireland Screen in 2007, Screened at the Wildsound Toronto Film Festival in June 2009, and “The Bloom Mystery”, a 26’ documentary for Duna TV Hungary, shot in two locations during the Bloomsday Celebrations in Dublin and Hungary and, screened at the 39th Hungarian Film Festival.
